Welcome to Me n My Bucket Cleaning LLC!  We pride ourselves on our non-toxic eco-friendly products, quality of service and well trained staff.  We offer an array of services from basic maintenance cleaning to post construction and move in/move out services.  In addition we offer window cleaning and general property management services.

Our Basic Cleaning

Recurring or One-Time Cleaning

  • Ceiling fans and light fixtures (dusted)
  • Cobwebs removed
  •  Blinds and window sills (dusted)
  • Moldings and woodwork (dusted)
  • Baseboards (dusted) 
  •  Lamp and lampshades (dusted)
  • Pictures and knick-knacks (dusted)
  • Furniture (dusted and polished and or vacuumed) 
  • Top of refrigerator 
  •  Outside of appliances cleaned (inside microwave)
  • Stove-top and back-splash (wiped down) 
  •  All sinks (scrubbed/disinfected)
  • Mirrors (Windex)
  • Tub/Shower and tiles cleaned
  • All bathroom counters and fixtures cleaned
  •  Wastebaskets emptied 
  • Beds made (includes master and 1 additional bed, each additional bed is an extra charge
  • Stairs (vacuumed, wood dusted)
  • Floors (vacuumed and /or mopped)
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas


It is presumed that the home will be in order and somewhat picked up to facilitate heavy cleaning.

Deep Cleaning

Every “Deep Clean” includes the “Basic Clean” with detail emphasis and focus on build up, plus the following:

  • Ceiling fan blades (dusted and wiped)
  • Light fixtures (dusted and wiped in place / not removed)
  • Blinds and shutters (vacuumed or wiped) 
  • Mini-Blinds (dusted and wiped)
  • Moldings, woodwork, and window sills (dusted and wiped)
  • Baseboards (dusted and wiped, reachable w/out moving furniture)
  • Lamp and lampshades (dusted or vacuumed with attachment)
  •  Pictures and knick-knacks (dusted and hand wiped)
  • Furniture (dusted and polished, fronts, sides, legs and or vacuumed)
  • Stove top /Oven and drip pans scrubbed (cleaning product provided by client)
  •  All Cabinet fronts cleaned (if wooden cabinets will be waxed with product provided by client)
  • All doors (wiped)
  • Light switch plates (wiped)
  •  Countertops and backsplashes (wiped)
  •  Mirrors (Windex all the way to top)
  •  Tub / Shower tiles (double scrubbed if build up)
  •  Wastebaskets (emptied / wiped/relined, client provides all trash bags)
  • Beds made (includes master and any additional beds)
  •  Stairs (vacuumed, wood wiped)
  •  Floors (vacuumed and/or mopped includes closets)
  •  Vacuum all carpet crevices (crevice along the edge where bugs, animal hair, carpet fibers collect)
  • Post construction clean includes wiping down of all walls/removal of dry wall dust

Commercial Cleaning

  • Empty waste receptacles and replace liners. Wash as needed.
  • Vacuum all carpets and mats
  • Vacuum all hard floors
  • Dust all horizontal surfaces of desks, chairs, tables and other furniture
  • Damp wipe all horizontal surfaces with disinfectant
  •  Mop all hard floors with disinfectant
  • Remove cobwebs from front entry and immediate surrounding areas
  • Remove fingerprints and marks from around light switches and door frames
  •  Clean automatic glass doors inside and out
  •  Wipe all internal glass
  • Polish all brass and bright work on doors and cabinets
  •  Spot clean walls and painted surface
  •  Collect all garbage, papers, bottles etc. from front entrance
  • Ensure all areas are clean & arranged neatly
  • Stock toilet tissue, hand towels, facial tissues and hand soap
  • Empty waste receptacles and wipe if needed and replace bin liners as required
  • Clean and polish mirrors
  • Wipe hand towel dispensers/hand dryers
  • Wipe down doors and sills – remove all dust and prints
  • Clean and sanitize all basins. Polish all bright work
  • Dust partitions, tops of mirrors and frames
  • Remove splash marks from walls and partitions around basins
  • Mop clean restroom and kitchen floors with disinfectant
  • Elevator and Stairs
  •  Remove garbage from all areas
  • Polish all brass and bright work
  • Vacuum and mop all hard floors
  • Spot clean internal glass in doors
  • Toilets and urinals to be cleaned and disinfected on both sides and disinfected/sanitized and wiped dry

Maintenance / Property Management

Exterior

  • Pressure-wash wood siding to prevent mold.
  • Check the exterior paint for bare spots.
  • Inspect and replace exterior caulk.
  • Check window and door sills for leaks and caulk where necessary.
  • Clean air-conditioning unit.
  • Check the foundation.
  • Trim trees and bushes.
  • Check all decks for loose boards, railings, and stairs.
  • Check window screens.
  • Check fences and gates.
  • Check the automatic garage door opener.
  • Examine the septic system for flooding or unusual odor.
  • Check the latches on storm windows.
  • Inspect the grading around house to make sure that water drains away from the house on all sides.
  • Check outside walls for termite tubes and damaged wood.
  • Check exterior doors and windows.
  • Check the condition of the patio furniture.
  • Remove leaves from around the house.
  • Clean or replace door mats.
  • Clean barbeque grill.
Kitchen
  •  Clean and seal tile and grout.
  •  Check and fix leaky faucets.
  •  Deep clean the oven and stove tops.
  •  Clean out the refrigerator, freezer,  pantry, and cabinets.
Bathroom
  • Clean and seal tile and grout.
  •  Make sure that all toilets are properly secured to the floor.
  • Check and fix leaky faucets and toilets.
  • Replace the shower curtain liner.
  • Wash bathroom rugs.
  • Clean the drains.
  • Replace the toilet brush.* Replace toilet flappers and seats as needed.
  • Check your toilet bowl brushes, and replace if they look dirty.
Bedrooms
  • Check the condition of the bedding (linens, pillows, comforters, mattress pads, etc.). Does anything need to be replaced?
  • Rotate and flip the mattresses.
Attic
  • Check the attic for signs of moisture (i.e. water stains on the underside of the roof sheathing).
  • Check all wooden materials for mildew and rot.
  •  Look for indications of a pest infestation.
Misc. Interior
  •  Clean out ashes from the fireplace.
  •  Replace the batteries in your smoke  detectors.
  • Replace batteries in clocks.
  • Change AC filters.
  • Check the main electrical panel for  rust and/or water marks.
  •  Test circuit breakers.
  •  Inspect fire extinguisher.
  • Check walls for condensation and mildew.
Supply Closet
  •  Restock paper products (toilet paper,  paper towels, coffee filters, etc.).
  • Restock cleaning supplies that you leave for your guests including: all purpose cleaner/disinfectant, dishwasher detergent, window-cleaner, furniture polish, floor cleaner, and spot remover for carpets.
  • Restock trash bags.

Exterior Only Window Cleaning
  • Cobwebs removed from window and door frames
  • Exterior window glass cleaned
  • Exterior sliding door glass cleaned (please ensure you unlock sliding fly screens so that we have full access to the glass doors)
  • Exterior window frames and sills wiped clean
  • Window fly screens removed and brushed clean (these must be accessible from the outside)
  • Sliding door screens brushed clean (from the outside only)
  • Sliding door tracks brushed and wet towel cleaned
